It has complete chemical inertia and low permeability, making it suitable for food, beverage, paint, adhesives, solvents, chemicals, low temperature materials, or as lighting or wire cover, PTFE is not used to transfer abrasive products). It also has excellent electrical and weather resistance and can be used with compression fittings.
