Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is chemically corroded, so it has better adhesion with the covering sheath material in the construction process. Polytetrafluoroethylene can be made into a variety of multi cavity structures, so that medical equipment has more channels, through which can be through the catheter, irrigation, steering cable, etc.
Critical fluid transportation – polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is an ideal material for critical fluid transportation due to its chemical resistance, mechanical integrity and high temperature resistance. This material can handle various acids, bases and solvents. Polytetrafluoroethylene is essentially pure, which makes it an excellent material choice for medical applications requiring high purity.
Dry lubrication – the high lubricity of PTFE provides dry lubrication solutions for a variety of applications, including fuel hoses and other fluid lines. The smooth surface of PTFE facilitates the transmission of wires and other components through PTFE bends or other pipes.
Bifurcation tubes – also known as sheaths – are most commonly used in fiber optic applications to protect these vulnerable communications devices. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) wire harness is particularly widely used in automotive and aerospace industries, not only because of its insulation and protection properties, but also because of its temperature resistance.
