Short Description:

PTFE TUBING has high chemical resistance, low temperature resistance, high temperature resistance, weathering resistance, low friction, insulation, heat insulation and other properties. These chemical resistant tubes have lower mechanical properties than other plastics, but they are usually reinforced by the addition of fillers such as fiberglass or carbon. When filled, the PTFE tube maintains its excellent chemical and temperature resistance, while the filler improves the mechanical strength, stability and wear resistance. PTFE tubing is the most flexible of all fluoropolymer tubing offered. Ptfe is the most flexible of all fluoropolymer tubes provided. PTFE tubing has the widest temperature range of any fluoropolymer, resistant to highly corrosive liquids and gases, even at high temperatures.Smooth surface finish and minimum coefficient of friction and lubricity make tubing, pipe or rod ideal for bushing or bearing applications.The translucent white may change.Tubing coil and reel lengths may be limited by batch size - please call to confirm available tubing lengths when ordering.

The general algorithm of wall thickness is wall thickness = outer diameter – inner diameter, such as outer diameter of 3mm, inner diameter of 2mm, 3-2 = 1, and wall thickness of 1mm. But please read it carefully. You use the diameter, and you get the difference in diameter. If the inner diameter is assumed to be at the center of the outer diameter, divide by 2 to get the wall thickness. That’s where the safety factor comes from. If you give yourself a factor of safety of two, you’re ready. If the inside diameter deviates from the center, the wall actually thins.

    Question:Does anyone have a problem? Did you use this when printing with nylon? I plan to print at 250 ℃ (482 ℃) for 8 hours. Is this pipe suitable?
