The hose liner can be black conductive polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon) to deal with the problem of dielectric static electricity, or it can be white non-conductive polytetrafluoroethylene. The type of hose cover depends on the application. The end fittings of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) hose are crimped or extruded.
